Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott
Trainer
Gai Waterhouse, the undisputed queen of Australian racing, needs no introduction. Since taking the reins at her legendary father T.J. Smith’s Tulloch Lodge, she has trained over 160 Group 1 winners, including seven Golden Slipper champions, seven Doncaster Handicap victors, and the 2013 Melbourne Cup winner. With decades of experience, Gai has a remarkable track record of producing top-class racehorses, having guided champions like Pierro, Fiorente, More Joyous, Grand Armee, and Alligator Blood to greatness.
In 2016, she formed a training partnership with Adrian Bott. A natural horseman who grew up in the industry, Adrian impressed Gai enough to be invited into partnership just two years after joining Tulloch Lodge. Together, they have continued the stable’s legacy of excellence, having trained 26 Group 1 winners to date.
We are proud to have such a dominant stable involved with Club Sport Syndications and training our horses.

Luke Oliver
Trainer
Luke Oliver's passion for horses and racing began early, spending weekends at the track and studying form during school. Despite a successful finance career, he was destined for racing, working with top Melbourne trainers before becoming a foreman for Group 1 winners Lee Freedman and James Riley.
In 2004, Luke began training independently, securing his first win with Glenview Park and never looking back. With 500 winners, he is now one of Victoria’s most respected trainers. Some of Luke’s star horses include Megamea, Jessy Belle, Elmore & Good Red.
After 13 years at Caulfield and time in Romsey, he moved to Cranbourne in 2020, now calling its world-class training complex home. Luke provides a hands-on approach and a personal experience for owners and we are proud to have him training our horses.

Amy & Ash Yargi
Trainer
Husband, Ash Yargi also comes from a family in racing with his uncle a highly successful trainer in Turkey. Growing up, Ash also spent extensive time at the Freedman’s where he progressed to the position of Foreman and the Assistant Trainer at one of the best stables in the country.
Together they form a husband-wife combination which continues to kick goals on the Mornington Peninsula having success with both tried horse and yearling purchases in metropolitan races.
Offering a personal service, we love having Amy & Ash train our horses.

Aaron Bain & Ned Taylor
Born into a life surrounded by horses, Aaron Bain’s path in racing was set from a young age. Growing up in the world of harness racing, he quickly developed a deep understanding and love for the sport. After taking out his own training licence, Aaron enjoyed enormous success in the harness ranks before opening his own thoroughbred operation in 2022.
Aaron has made a significant impact on the South Australian racing scene. Known for his progressive mindset and strong work ethic, Aaron is also at the forefront of a new wave of racehorse ownership in South Australia. His rise through the training ranks has been nothing short of meteoric, and we’re proud to be part of the journey as he continues his push towards the top of the South Australian Training Premiership.
Ned Taylor joined Aaron Bain Racing in 2021, originally taking on the role of stable foreman after gaining valuable experience at the elite Ciaron Maher Racing operation. Now an integral part of the training partnership, Ned brings a strong hands-on approach and an unwavering dedication to the care and development of each horse.
